1. Who We Are

For the purposes of applicable data protection law (including the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"), House HRR Ltd is the data controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Age Requirement

The Service is intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We use the birthdate you provide at account creation to verify eligibility. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will delete the account and associated data.

3. Personal Data We Collect

• 3.1. Account & Profile Data

  When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • First name
  • Birthdate (used to verify you are 18+ and to display your age on your profile)
  • Dating intentions (e.g., serious relationship, casual dating...)
  • Biography
  • Photos you upload from your device's photo gallery
  • Sex
  • Sexual orientation (optional)
  • Languages spoken (optional)
  • Religion (optional)
  • Current GPS coordinates
  • City where you live (optional)
  • The sex(es) you are looking for (matching preference)
  • Hobbies and interests
  • "Hooks": short personal facts you select from a predefined list of questions and answers

  Where this data is stored: In our database hosted on Supabase (hosting region: Paris, France), except your email address, which is stored exclusively in Firebase (provided by Google).

• 3.2 Authentication & Device Data

  We can also collect the following technical data:

  • Apple refresh token: if you use Sign in with Apple, we store an encrypted refresh token, solely to revoke your Sign in with Apple authorization when you delete your account.
  • Push notification tokens: a device identifier used to deliver push notifications to you.

  Where this data is stored: In our database hosted on Supabase (hosting region: Paris, France).

• 3.3. Identity Verification

  You can optionally submit a selfie photo taken with your device's camera for identity verification purposes only, we collect that photo.

  Where this data is stored: In our database hosted on Supabase (hosting region: Paris, France), and keep it as long as your account exists to review new photos uploaded to your profile.

• 3.4. Support Requests

  When you contact us for help, we collect:

  • Your email address
  • The content of your message

  Where this data is stored: In an email sent directly to us via Brevo, our transactional email provider, at contact@web-radiance.fr. This message is retained only for as long a reasonably necessary to review and respond to your inquiry, consistent with our email provider's and Brevo's standard retention settings.
  Brevo may also be used to send any other emails the App may send you (for example, account-related notifications). Any personal data contained in those emails (such as your email address and, where relevant, your first name) is processed by Brevo for the sole purpose of delivering that email.

• 3.5. Conversations

  When you exchange messages with other users on the Service, the content of those conversations is collected.

  Where this data is stored: In our database hosted on Supabase (hosting region: Paris, France).

• 3.6. Subscription & Payment Data

  The App offers premium features via auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We use RevenueCat to manage and validate subscriptions.
  When you make a purchase, RevenueCat receives your user account identifier, your purchase and subscription event history, and certain device data, in order to track your subscription status and unlock premium features.
  Apple separately processes your actual payment method (e.g., card details), we and RevenueCat never receive or store your payment card information.

• 3.7. Data We Do Not Currently Collect

  We do not currently use analytics or advertising cookies/SDKs, and we do not collect device identifiers or behavioral tracking data beyond what is described above.

4. Special Category (Sensitive) Data

Some of the data we collect, specifically your sexual orientation and religion, is considered "special category data" under GDPR and receives a higher level of legal protection.
These fields are entirely optional: you choose whether to provide them, and your explicit consent is given each time you voluntarily complete these fields during account creation or in your profile settings.
You may remove or delete this data at any time as described in Section 10.

7. How We Share Your Data

We share personal data only as follows:

• Supabase (database/storage provider)

  • Purpose: hosting and storage infrastructure
  • Data shared: profile data, conversations, encrypted Apple refresh token, device push tokens

• Firebase / Google

  • Purpose: authentication and account identification
  • Data shared: email address, authentication provider

• Brevo

  • Purpose: sending all outbound emails on our behalf
  • Data shared: any email the App sends you (support requests, account-related notifications, etc.), including your email address and message content where applicable

• Expo

  • Purpose: delivering push notifications to your device
  • Data shared: device push notification tokens

• RevenueCat

  • Purpose: managing and validating premium subscriptions
  • Data shared: user account identifier, purchase and subscription event history, device data

• Apple

  • Purpose: processing all In-App Purchase transactions directly (we do not receive or store your payment card details)
  • Data shared: payment details, In-App Purchase transaction data, Sign in with Apple authorization

• Other users of the App

  • Purpose: enabling matching and connection
  • Data shared: first name, age, distance to you last known location (rounded to the kilometer, shown as "Near by" if less than 3km), city name, bio, sex, orientation, intention, photos, hooks, hobbies, languages spoken, religion

• Law enforcement / regulators

  • Purpose: compliance with valid legal requests
  • Data shared: as legally required

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

8. International Data Transfers

Supabase, Firebase/Google, Brevo, Expo, and RevenueCat may process and store data in countries other than your own, including outside the European Economic Area.
Where such transfers occur, we take steps required by applicable law to ensure your data remains protected.

9. Data Retention

• Profile and conversation data: retained for as long as your account is active, and deleted immediately upon account deletion.
• Apple refresh token: retained only while your account is active, used to revoke Sign in with Apple access at the moment of account deletion, and then immediately deleted.
• Push notification tokens: retained while your account is active and deleted immediately upon account deletion.
• Subscription data: retained in accordance with RevenueCat's data retention practices, generally for as long as needed to manage your subscription history and comply with financial/tax obligations.
• Support emails: retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, per our email provider's and Brevo's settings.
• You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time (see Section 10).

11. Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from within the App under Account>Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
As soon as you delete your account, we:

• Remove your profile, photos, and conversations from Supabase
• Remove your email from Firebase
• Revoke your Sign in with Apple authorization using your stored refresh token, then immediately delete that token
• Delete your push notification tokens
• Cancel or disassociate your subscription tracking in RevenueCat (note: this does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription, you may need to cancel that separately through your Apple ID subscription settings)

except where we are required to briefly retain certain data for legal or safety reasons.

12. Permissions

• Camera: used only to capture your selfie photo for verification purposes
• Photo Gallery: used only to let you select and upload profile photos
• Location: used to show you potential matches near your current location. You can disable location access in your device settings, though this may limit certain features of the Service

13. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
If you believe a minor has created an account, please report them in-app or contact us at support@web-radiance.fr so we can investigate and remove the account if necessary.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email prior to the change taking effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
